With the support of a very generous grant from the John Templeton Foundation, Florida State University is launching a major project on self-control — The Philosophy and Science of Self-Control — directed by Alfred R. Mele , William H. and Lucyle T. Werkmeister Professor of Philosophy at Florida State University. This project is aimed at improving our philosophical and scientific understanding of self-control.
